JOST VAN DYKE, BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS
After spending New Year in Jost van Dyke, BVI, we continued on to St. Croix USVI, where I had a good 10km mostly power walk due to a bang on the right knee in Jost van Dyke. Then back to San Juan, Puerto Rico and two nice 8kms along my north shore route direction Condado. Then back to Jost van Dyke where I managed to injure my left calf. It seems that Jost van Dyke is a place I should stay away from!

ST. THOMAS, US VIRGIN ISLANDS
After a day at St. John, US Virgin Islands, and a very tough 10km hilly run from Cruz Bay along the Centerline Road, we moved on to St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands. I had a long, hot and humid run from the dock at Crown Bay past the Airport to Brewers Bay then back to Charlotte Amalie. Very touristy with a lot of cruise ship traffic.
SAN JUAN, PUERTO RICO
Three days here in San Juan. Great jogging from the Port at Old San Juan along the North shore to the Condado area 10km out and back. A lot of joggers out early morning before it gets too toasty and humid. Left on Christmas Eve for US Virgin Islands.
MAYAGUEZ, PUERTO RICO
After two days in La Romana, Dominican Republic where there is a great run in the Casa de Campo Resort, we moved on to Puerto Rico for two days in Mayaguez. Great jogging from the port along the Parc Littoral 10km out and back. Nice promenade and waterfront area-warm and humid.

PUERTO PLATA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
Two days here in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic. Two 10km out and back runs from the the port along the Avenida General Gregorio Luperon, which runs along the beach front for about 4km from the Fort, and has a designated jogging/cycle track second to none. Very beautiful run once you get out of the port area.
