In Oban, Scotland, I had a great 10km out and back on the road out of town direction Glasgow. Nice scenery, a little chilly, though. Then on to Torshavn, Faroe Islands, where I ran a great circular route from the port around the town and back to the port-10km (photo). Next stop, Iceland.

LIVERPOOL TO GREENOCK, U.K.
4 great days in Liverpool-wonderful city, great people. From our berth at Princes Dock, had 4 great runs down towards Riverside Park along King's Parade (waterfront). 10kms out and back early morning. Nice jogging path, no traffic, top-class. Then on to Greenock near Glasgow. 2 runs along the waterfront to the Esplanade and Battery Park-out and back 8kms (photo). A little chilly.

COBH, IRELAND TO ISLE OF MAN, U.K.
Leaving Dublin we sailed to Cobh, Ireland, a beautiful little town near Cork. I had 2 runs of 7km and 9km on the road towards Cork. Very nice scenery, nice weather. Then on to the Isle of Man, U.K., where I found the Steam Heritage Trail from Douglas to Peel. It's a really great trail for jogging, no cars, just a few hikers and joggers. Although I didn't do the whole trail (I did 14km out and back), it goes for about 17km through very nice countryside (photo). The start of the trail is about 2kms out of town, but once you're there, it's great.

FOWEY,U.K. TO DUBLIN, IRELAND
Leaving Dartmouth, we spent 2 days in the quaint village of Fowey. Two 5km runs out of town-a little hilly but great scenery. Then on to Cardiff which is great for joggers-three runs around Cardiff Bay. 10km, 7km and 6km along a great designated jogging/cycling path-pretty much as good as it gets for a city. Then on to Dublin, Ireland where from the port there is a great run to Sandymount Strand (photo). Very nice 12km and 8km-a bit chilly though.
