ST. ANTHONY, QUEBEC, MONTREAL, CANADA.

Leaving Greenland after a farewell gig on a rock in front of a glacier in Eternity Fjord (photo), we headed to St. Anthony, Canada. I had a great 12km out and back direction Deer Lake-great scenery. Followed it up with a selection of Tim Hortons fine donuts (carbo loading). Then to Quebec where I had an 8km out and back in the rain from the port along the riverside cycle path. Great city this. Then on to Montreal. Great loop from the port across the Jacque Cartier bridge and back through the city. Then the next day across to the Gilles Villeneuve Circuit (formula 1) and around the circuit. From the port it's about 9km. Wonderful cycle paths here-great city.

REYKJAVIK, ICELAND TO GREENLAND

Leaving the Faroes, stopped at Heimaey, off the coast of Iceland. I had a good hilly 8km out and back direction airport and Eldfell. Rainy, windy, cold and foggy, but a great run nonetheless. Then 3 days in Reykjavik, Iceland, where there is a great running path from port to town along the waterfront. 3 great runs, nice town. Then on to Greenland-not a lot of running possibilities on our trip-more hiking, but great scenery (photo).
