ADELAIDE, AUSTRALIA

Great 3 days here in Adelaide. Great town, wonderful people-the Aussies are friendly folk. Great jogging/cycling track along the beachfront from Port Adelaide and North Haven. Two days of 12kms and one 5km. Nice weather, not too hot. The facilities for cyclists/joggers must be among the best in the world here in Australia.

ESPERANCE, AUSTRALIA

Great day here in Esperance, a beach resort town in Western Australia. Cool weather, 20 degs C, nice 9 km out and back along the cycle track on the beachfront. Next stop, Adelaide.

FREMANTLE, AUSTRALIA

After a bumpy ride from Mauritius, a great day in Fremantle. Great 10km north from the harbour at Fremantle along the cycle track direction Cottesloe. A bit toasty, but great running here.

PORT LOUIS, MAURITIUS

4 days here in Port Louis. Not ideal for jogging, but found a nice enough route from the port on a road grandly going to "The North". Lots of traffic, a bit chaotic and very hot and humid.

RODRIGUES IS., MAURITIUS

Great place, this. A quaint island with great scenery. We anchored off Port Mathurin and from the town, I took the road up to Mont Limon which goes over to the other side of the island. 4.55 kms to the highest point on the road to an elevation of about 375m-9kms out and back. Extremely humid and hot, a nice challenging run.
