Since we left Yangon, no opportunity for a jog except on the treadmill! However, a great day of beach zodiac landings on Saturday.

PHUKET, THAILAND

Leaving Malaysia, we arrived yesterday (7 March) in Phuket. Went for a nice and humid 9kms from the port towards Phuket Town-VERY toasty. Today (8 March) a nice, easy 10kms out and back to Cape Panwa-quieter than Patong, with a few resorts along the way.

LANGKAWI, MALAYSIA

Leaving Penang, our last stop in Malaysia was Langkawi, a resort island in the Malacca Strait. I went for an easy 10km out and back from the tender port along a resort-filled road-very touristy. Extremely humid, although not so hot. Great island for a beach holiday.

PENANG, MALAYSIA

After a great stay at Port Kelang, Malaysia, where I had 2 days of easy 10kms out and back in the port area, we spent 2 days in Penang, Malaysia (Georgetown). I went for a great 11kms out and back from the port along the waterfront (where possible). Nice run, great town, lots to see along the way.

MELAKA, MALAYSIA

Anchored for 2 days at this historic town on the Malacca Strait. A great jog from the tender on the Melaka River through town and over the bridge to the Pulau Melaka, about 9kms out and back. Extremely humid if not all that hot (30 degs C). A lot of hydration necessary!
